| PENCiLFaCE
was formed after Julienne and Chris met Pete at New Years party 2002.
The other members of Chris and Julienne's band had fallen away leaving
them high and dry. Pete approached them, as re-locating had ended
his partnership with Linda. Together they formed Pencilface with original
bassist Andy Holder. However the band found it hard to break ground
with their originals material and dissolved a little over a year later.
As fortune should have it, Dom, another close friend, was keen to
try playing live. This revitalise the act and Pencilface at last arrived
on the Midlands music scene. After a colourful start and some local
success playing original material, culminating in presenting PeNCiLFeST
in 2004, the band felt that a change was needed and decided to expand
their repertoire of covers and increase their potential audience.
Since then, they have played the renowned Hook Norton Beer Festival,
the Larkstock charity event and numerous public performances and private
functions around the Midlands. |
